The beach

One of the most beautiful beaches in Tarragona, Playa de la Arrabassada, is a 4 minute walk from our house. With three nice beach bars. Not much further are several other beaches, small and large but all authentic Spanish. The famous GR92 hiking trail runs along all these beaches, interspersed with beautiful stretches along the coastal rocks.

Playa de la Arrabassada

4 minutes walk from our house, the most beautiful beach of Tarragona. In the summer you can rent beach beds, umbrellas, pedal boats and kayaks.
Playa de la Arrabassada is also a nice starting point to start the hiking route GR-92 along the coast.

Chiringuito Pepe's & Lugano (Playa de la Arrabassada)

One of the three modern beach bars on Playa de la Arrabasada to enjoy a good cup of coffee from home in the morning or a drink at the end of the day. At Chiringuito Pepe's & Lugano you can order a water pipe in addition to delicious drinks and snacks (such as their fresh boquerones).

Sunrise at Playa de la Arrabassada

The sunrise on the beach of Arrabassada is magnificent. If it comes too early for you, the sunset is also very worthwhile.

Volleyball at Playa de la Arrabassada

At the end of the afternoon, countless volleyball fields are set up on the beach and played by everyone, young and old. Fun to watch or do yourself.
